Synthetic zeolite powder 13X is mainly used to produce molecular sieve 13X. It has an effective pore openning of about 10 nm. It will adsorb molecules with a kinetic diameter of less than 10 anstroms and exclude those larger. It can remove impurities too large to fit into a type A zeolite.
